I got a drone

This is one of the first decent pictures that I took when I got the drone, but it was a while before I managed to get the picture.

When I first got it I thought it'd be more of a fun thing to fly and maybe take pictures with but for a while turned out to be a pain because I had to deal with FAA regulations and restrictions.

At the time I lived only a few miles away from an air force base, and so this put a damper on flying the drone for a while. I could have driven out somewhere and gotten something but I never really got around to it.

This picture was the first time I really went out with the goal of taking a good picture instead of just flying the drone for the sake of flying it. These pictures aren't the best ones i've taken, but it's the first time I really took the drone out and played with it.

I took these a bit later as winter came and it brought a new perspective on the vastness of this planet and how remote some places can get. What felt like a thick forest as I was skiing through looked so different from above, I didn't realize how sparse it was in places and that we need to protect what little we have left.
